Bush Poker Axe Throwing Trail

Muskoka’s 1st Axe Throwing Experience

Muskoka’s 1st axe throwing experience

What Is Bush Poker Axe Throwing?

Our Traditional Axe Throwing is an outdoor variation of the wildly popular Axe Throwing activity, which is found in most Canadian urban areas.

You will learn safety rules and different methods of axe throwing followed by different games and challenges on large targets that will wet your appetite for more. The big difference is that we operate in a beautiful hardwood forest rather than an industrial building.

Bush Poker Axe Throwing Trail is perfect for those who can hit targets somewhat regularly in urban axe throwing venues, or at our Traditional Axe Throwing site after an hour or two of practice.

It’s especially well suited to those who are active in Axe Throwing Leagues and are searching for a new challenge. If that’s you, this is it!

A new challenge + our beautiful maple forest = the most fun you’ll have in the bush this year!

Why Try Bush Poker Axe Throwing?

You get to play poker (or any card game of your choice) and possibly take on some new optional challenges like different stances and moving targets. You heard right. Check it out.

How?

How Long are Programs and How Much does it Cost?

Traditional Axe Throwing : 1 hour – $30 per person
Bush Poker Course:  2 hours $40 per person
Large group discounts of 10% available.

How Tough is Axe Throwing?

Most people successfully hit the target in just a few throws, but some find it takes up to ten throws to make their first strike. Once you’ve done it once, you get good fast.

How Difficult is the Hike?

Our ‘hike’ is a series of five short walks of 50 to 200 metres over flat to gently rolling terrain. Your biggest challenge is one 15 metre long uphill stretch.
